Why join Friends of the Ark?

The Ark Trust Ltd (Reg. Charity No. 1098204) is a charity that enhances the lives of people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and sensory impairment, by means of access to and participation in the arts.
It also houses the Dis:Course project which provides information, advice and support for people with disabilities and those that support them.

Funding covers specific projects. We have to raise additional money to cover our general running costs, such as rent, office supplies and so on.

Gift Aid Donations

If you pay income tax or capital gains tax, you can use Gift Aid (see Part 2 of the form). This means that, if you are a standard rate tax payer, for every pound you give,
The Ark receives an extra 28 pence. So £10.00 turns into £12.80: imagine what a difference that makes to us, and it doesn’t cost you a thing.

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount the charity will claim in the tax year.

You can use Gift Aid for one-off donations and for regular donations by standing order.

One-off donations

Please send a cheque payable to The Ark (Ark Studio, Ravenswood Village, Nine Mile Ride, Crowthorne, Berkshire, RG45 6BQ) completing Part 1, and Part 2 of our donation form if you wish.

Regular donations

If you would like to give money to The Ark regularly, please complete Parts 1 and 3 of the form, and Part 2 if you wish.
